Arlene's Story
Life
I am still in North Edwards, CA. 2 miles north of Edwards Air Force Base where the shuttle sometimes lands and home of the Test Pilot School.
I am the librarian at Desert High School/Edwards Middle School and have worked for Muroc School District since 1985. My spouse Keith works for U.S. Borax, you know 20-mule team Borax. My brother George Hale lives with us and is on disability.
The children are grown, daughter married, no children. Son lives across the street, so far not married. Our son Matthew lives across the street and works for Florida Power and Light (So...Expand for more
lar Plant). He has a son, our only grandchild who is now living in Idaho. Our daughter has her own swimming pool cleaning business along with her husband and he also works for Verizon.
We stay busy in church and serving the Lord.
Keith wants to retire in 3 years I keep telling everyone 5-6 for me or I may work until I am 80.
It was a great first year for high school and enjoyed the student aides, we had fun and they found out I like to laugh and enjoy life.
Also. received a new right hip to go along with my fake left and right knees. So I am walking a little better.
