Tom's Story

At Chaffey High School in Ontario my name was Arlo Thompson. In 1964 we came across hard times after my Dad died. My Mother re-married and we had to move to Bloomington, Ca. My new step Dad, Howard adopted me and I changed my last name to Louks. My nick name was already Tom, so I went by Tom Louks!! Thats the whole story and I'm stickin to it. oomington high school in 1968 and went to Valley Jr. college in San Bernardino, and learned how to be a machinist, tool maker. From there I got a job with the Southern Pacific railroad as a machinist. Now I'm retired, cool... I would really like to see some of my old friends from Chaffey again! Randy Corneal, or Allen Brockway come to mind, are you still around??

This miniature railroad hi balled from Urbita springs park, in San Bernardino. It was located where the Inland Center mall is now. People came from everywhere to enjoy this beautiful park. The lake dried up in 1946.
