Arlyss's Story
I moved to San Francisco from Little rock in Feb 1973. The 70's and 80's in SF were the best years. I felt that I was part of the history and events of that marvelous, diverse city. I started wine education classes on the advice of a friend of mine who was a wine waiter on Nob Hill. college and learned everything I could about wine at work.
In 2005, a miracle happened. I went to work.in Napa Valley at the world famous, Robert Mondavi Winery. I met Mr Mondavi, who died in 2008. I was hired as a wine educator. I have the world's best job because I give classes on Wine and Cheese, Wine and Chocolate, basic wine knowledge and tasting techniques. I love what i do. I followed a dream and it worked out for me.
