Armen's Story
Life
Armen Enkababian, a native New York has worked and lived in the Baltimore area for 30years. He retired from the Social Security Administration in October 2004 after a 30 year career. He was the Agency's Event Manager. Armen is married to Peggy Leibbrand Enkababian, he has two daughters; Ellena, married to Chip Willett and Anoush, and a son Nick who is 7. He has served his community as a Commissioner on the Baltimore County Human Relations Commission, President of both the Drexel Woods and Ellicott Mills Homeowners Associations. A life long member of the Armenian Students' Association he has served on the Board of Trustees for more than 25 years and was elected as Chairperson and Treasurer. He is a life member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. .
Armen has been selected to Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in Government, and Who's Who in Finance and Industry. A graduate of Long Island University, with a BA in History and Political Science, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration. He also served honorably with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He maintains close ties with his shipmates and attends reunions with them every other year. He is currently employed by Cablevision, He serves as the Commander of the American Legion Post in Babylon, NY and has been active with them since moving back to New York in 2009.
