Hello friends, After graduating high school, I attended the Stevens Institute of Technology and in 1973 received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and Mathematics. Intending to obtain a phd in physics, I subsequently began graduate studies at Cornell University. But I found that I did not quite have the ability to achieve my goal there, so in 1975 I left school for the business world. I enterred the actuarial profession. In February of 1976 I found employment with Buck Consultants in New York City, where I was to work until my retirement in September of 2004. Buck is a firm that provides actuarial and other services to large private and public pension plans. At Buck I became a senior consultant in 1985 and ultimately ran a small department that did funding and investment policy work for our clients. Overall I enjoyed my career, but as for most jobs it was often tedious and very often pressure packed. I'm happy I'm retired. As for my personal life, some of you may remember that during high school I was very shy socially when out of the classroom. I began to emerge from my shell (well sort of) during my college years. In 1971 I met my wife to be, Davida, and we were married in 1978. Davida and I have been married, through thick and thin, until the present day. We have two daughters.
