Arshag's Story
Graduted from Commerce Dec 1932. Worked 3 years for Vutee A/C then transferred to Douglass A/C in l937 santa Monica. & Long Beach Div..1941 obtained a secondary teachers credential fron State of Caif. and started teaching A/C Mechanics in Long Beach Calif. Quit in 1942 and joined the Navy with a Lt jg Commission. Stayed in the Navy till the war ended. Was in Japan at the time. In !944 went to work for the US. Army. Assignment in Japan with family/1946 returned to the States and was given a 4 year assignment in North Africa. Left there and was assigned to McLellan AFB; Sac. for a few years and then moved on South Korea for a few years. Have stayed put all these 49 years. Over the years have had numerous friends from commerce visit me here in Spain/ I am located half way between Valencia and Alicante.
