Life
So I graduated and headed off to college in Portland, OR. Got my degree in Physics! And went to work. Spent several years in Wisconsin in the mid to late 70's and headed back to work in Beaverton. Was with Tektronix for 14 years. then an avionics company, then into the IC equipment developement. After that did some design work for a company that supplied the plastic trim pieces for the inside of the truck and sleeper, ie Peterbuilt before ending up here in CAlifornia working for a startup telecom company. r working at the forfront of new ideas and new technology. I am now enjoying 'early retirement' with the slowdown in the economy today.
Got married and am now divorced.
the hardest part of the journey has been over the last 20 years. I am an insulin dependant diabetic. Looks aas if 2002 will bring me into the world of a kidney-pancrease transplant. That should give me a better lease on life.
All through this, I have been involved in the Presbyterian church and with two partners, raced for a national speed title at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Have had some great success.
