Art's Story
I only spent 1 year at Oak Glen (Sept 1973 - May 1974). During my sophomore year I played drums in the band, was very active in intramurial sports and joined the wrestling team. My family moved from Louisiana and returned to Louisiana after the bridge construction in 1974. I graduated from Northeast La. University in 1980. I became completely in love with the sport of wrestling and continue to work with high school and USA wrestling programs. This past season was my 23rd year to referee. That is the 36th season of high scholl wrestling I have participated either as a wrestler, coach and referee.
I have such fond memories of this time in my life. I would love to talk to others which shared these times with me.
