Life Hello to all still enjoying my retirement in Hesperia great dry climate here ,the Ca dept of forestry was a great job but retirement is better : ) i have 5 super grandkids Carley,Kayla,Sadie,Christain,Devin the three prettyest grand daughters in town and all 5 musically talented they have played for crowds of several hundred and got standing ovations ,very proud of them and brag about them continually : ) its a natural for them because my son mike is a rock guitar instructor at music empire in Riverside and has played all over so. ca and Hollywood ,his band THE VELMA FIX and has a website...i keep active taking care of my 20 asst fruit trees and my favorite 5 different types of large beefsteak tomatos and garden with striped watermellon ,cantalope,honeydew mellons,strawberrys,thomson seedless grapes to mention a few...just sold a second home to my son at cost(dumb)a bought a classic 1972 ford pick up classic over 30 years old very good condition 60,000 miles on it v390 motor fun to drive now i can get that free fire wood at crestline (free is good) to bad all my freeloader relatives followed me here (bummer) :( but they cant stop me from enjoying myself just call me irrepressible,up date reciently bought myself a CLASSIC 1971 ford maverick in near showroom condition new paint original canery yellow 250 motor, air ,auto had to do a little mechanical work but its a beauty every time i take it out it gets complimented and fun to drive 75000 ori miles a trip back in a time capsule...going to buffalo bills in stateline nv with my sweety to see dwight yokum on 29th and 30th HE HAW.....Expand for more
hope your all doing well gotta go HI M.Y. College I ALWAYS BRAKE FOR EXTRATERESTIALS Workplace In high school i worked with my dad a machinest in a little shop down on rush st. in so. Elmonte and at several other machine shops then joined the U.S.army honorable discharge rank buck SGT.E-5 jan 64 ,worked for Railway Express 2 years,worked for Greyhound as mechanic ,worked for International Harvester as diesel mechanic 11 years in L.A. ,1978 CA.DEPT OF FORESTRY Riverside co.11 years as fire appratus mechanic then transfered to gabilan conservation camp in Monterey county to supervise inmate mechanics in the repair of a wide variety of fire dept equip including a mobil kitchen that could feed 5000 fire fighters on the fire line ,as a mobil mechanic i was dispatched to fire camps all over the state and sometime didnt get home for a week but the O.T. was good,every kids dream come true to drive a fire truck and i drove them all big and small ,what a blast ,currently retired and living in Hesperia Ca.taking care of my mini orchard ,grapes and talking to my beefsteak tomatos on a daily basis : ) .. I always wanted to be a nomad when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a ignorant idea. As it turns out, they were right. i bang my head up against the fireplace bricks to blow off steam then i am ok for a few minutes george washington was my hero because he whittled a set of false teeth for himself out of wood because dentist overcharged even back then anybody that was that tight was my hero what i have learned from raising kids its like being pecked to death by chickens
