Art's Story
Life
A photographer since leaving college in 1971. I have had quite an interesting life. Was a single father of my son who is now almost 32.
After college I returned to Upstate New York and after doing the random job thing landed a job with a local studio, then with the local newspaper, which turned into a 12 year stint. Moved on to Los Angeles, CA where I worked for United Press International and the Associated Press. During this time I covered presidents, the Pope, celebrities and major news events as well as major sports events, including Rose Bowls, Super Bowls, World Series, NBA play-offs, Stanley Cup play-offs and most anything news and sports related.
I hooked up with a group of sports photographers and we were the team photographers for the Dodgers, Clippers, Kings and Lakers... as well as the Nationa...Expand for more
l Basketball Association, along with other clients.
While working for the wire services I met and started a relationship with the people at Playboy magazine which lasts till the present. A tough job, but someone has to do it...
I was living in a small town in central PA where I shot for Bucknell and Susquehanna Universities as well as TOPPS card company.
I am married for the second time to Evan Beth Taber a parinatologist (high risk OB) and we now live in Phoenix, AZ where she delivers babies to women who are having troubles in their pregnancies. Me I am shooting when and what I can and even doing some extra work on movies that are being made here in the Valley of the Sun.
If you get out this way or just want to email me and let me know how you are doing and what you are up to... don't hesitate to say hi...
