Arthur's Story
Life
I worked with children and young adults with disabilities.
In 1980 I was a worker for Kennedy for President and a volunteer at the Dems National Convention in NYC.
I still love reading & collecting books. Currently reading "His Dark Materials Illuminated: Critical Essays on Philip Pullman's Trilogy", next will be Richard Dawkins' "A Devil's Chaplain".
Traveled to regional SF conventions and to the World Science Fiction Conventions and the Conference of the International Humanist Association.
At West Orange HS my favorite class was Mr. Kirk's US History I. The essays for class were fun to research and each surpassed the last in word count, hopefully my style improved too.

Barringer was just my 10th grade year, but I recall Avril turning in one study hall and saying I resembled
Tab Hunter or somebody like him.
Broadway Junior HS had a great library so all my homework got done there or in study hall before I left for home. I took the 13 bus from 3rd Ave and once a very pretty girl I'd liked since 3rd grade got on and sat beside me. That ride was over way too soon.
I remember the pretty blonde girl on line for class her first day at Summer Avenue School. I was glad of the A-Z seating for those times she was in front of me. The first dirty joke I heard her say is forgotten but not the grin on her face as she said it.
I hope you recall me too, Kathleen Memel.
