Arthur's Story

In 1972 I Married, in 1973, I completed my enlistment in the U.S.A.F, came back to St.Louis, and began what I thought was a career, as a Resident Apartment Manager, which lasted all of 18 months. Not a job for a Married Man. I Went to work for Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in 1974, using my plumbing skills from the U.S.A.F. in Feb. 1975 my Daughter Angela Marie was Born. In January 1977 I once began a new career, Diving into the Automobile Sales field. My second Daughter Carrie Lynn was born September 1977, and my son James Arthur, was born March 1979. I divorced my 1st wife in 1984, and remarried April, 1984. My son Thomas Robert, was born Oct.21st, 1988, and died upon Birth, due to an emergency open heart surgery, which my wife required. On March 31st,1993, my second wife died due to a mechanical valve failure. Donna Jean and our son Thomas Robert are both Buried at National Cemetery Jefferson Barracks.
I left the Automobile Business June of 1994.After which I took one year to get my thoughts, and life back together.
In 1995 I began working for a Courier Company, as a delivery person, and In Bound Call Taker.
In 1996 I began a part time job, which is one I enjoyed more than any. I was a D.J./Karaoke Host with,an unusual twist. The twist was I became known as

as doing two to three shows a week, Jumpsuits, Scarves, Teddy Bears, my own real Black Hair and Full Blown Side Burns. It was a natural for me to do, I have always been an avid fan of the King, and had learned more about him than anyone else. It was fun and helped me raise a lot of Monies for many Charities, the most rewarding was helping raise money to help those during the Holidays, ensuring that at least they would have a meal to enjoy, and some sort of small package.
I married again March 16,1998, a Lithuanian Princess from Kewanee,IL. Diane Kapacinskas, the first thing I learned was how to carve designs on Easter Eggs, it is very time consuming, and you have to have imagination. My having developed Parkinsons, doesn't allow me to participate in the design making anymore. But I still enjoy looking at them and watching my family make them.
I have illnesses I battle with daily, and have recently applied for Social Security Disability, and my wife Diane works full time at Macys in Bridgeton. We both reside in Arnold, off Missouri State Road. I really enjoy the new Library, and try to walk the Track at the Rec. Center, when I am able.
In closing, I have one question. Does anyone know when the next Class Reunion,is scheduled for ? Truly would appreciate it if someone would drop a note, or call me our phone number is (636)333-2718.
God Bless You All
