Arthur's Story
Arthur lived in Bell Park Manor Terrace in Queens Village, around the corner from Martin Van Buren HS. Arthur is married to Ginny Pilzer. He has three grown children, Chris, Dan and Lauren. Arthur and Ginny have three grand children; Katie, Claire and Maggie.
Arthur's schools include Martin Van Buren High School., Queens College and American University where he earned his MBA in Finance. He joined the US Army in 1966, went to OCS and became an officer. He served in Viet Nam in 1968 as a combat engineer. His job was to build refugee housing for displaced South Vietnamese. Arthur worked for 27 years at the Export Import Bank of the US as a senior executive. He then joined Global Industries as the Vice President of International Finance. Arthur open and ran Global's Washington DC office. Global was an offshore construction company headquartered in Lafayette Louisiana.

1998 he joined the Bechtel Corporation as a Finance Director and stayed with them for another 18 years. Over his 50 year career, Arthur has traveled extensively around the world having visited more than 30 countries including such unusual places as Mongolia and Papua New Guinea.
After retiring from Bechtel in 2016, Arthur started his own consultancy company called, Gryphon International Financing Services LLC. Arthur and Ginny travel several times a year ;live 60% of the time at their beach house in Sebyville Delaware, near Ocean City Maryland and the rest of the time in Odenton, Md. Arthur is an amateur pastel artist, a gym rat where he stays in shape by lifting weights, He likes to read, fish, play golf, bike riding and meet new and interesting people. He walks his dogs 2-4 miles each day.
