Arthur's Story
Start typing your story here.I have been trying to locate Chuck Florek. He and I were pretty good buddies up until the late 70's and I would have liked to have spoken with him. However, I received some news that has left me saddened. I asked Steve Newton if he might have Chuck's phone number. Steve's wife is into genealogy and did a search and Chuck had passed away in 2010. Chuck and Steve along with Phil Sterrett, another good friend, were in a band together "Cloud". I doubled checked with Phil, whom I haven't spoke with in some time and he confirmed it. So folks if you have someone you would like to talk with don't be shy. Rest IN Peace My Brother. Adventure Lies In Not What I Have Done. It Lies In What I Have Yet To Do. h I know about the snow and I loved it. The only club I joined in school was ski club and will always remember the bus rides. I have skied from Vermont to Alberta Canada. Lake Louise the most beautiful spot on earth. I retired in 2005 Jan. and traveled the country from N.Y to Seattle to visit 2 of our kids. Our youngest, Garrett, went to the Seattle School of Art and our oldest, Forrest, moved there to do music. He has played guitar since he was 4. He lived in Chicago before that. Shannon our middle son now lives in California. Judy and I bought a camper and camped in California, N.M. Arizona Texas Louisiana Fla Georgia and stopped in the mountains of Tenn. We have found a nice town, Tellico Plains, and have fallen in with musicians, artists and writers. I write songs, sing and play guitar. Judy took up Fiddle. Ran Boston Marathon 1990, had a pretty bad ski wreck in Alberta 1993 tumbled end over end for 400 feet down a face of the mountain. That ended my running. I hope you are all well and healthy. Perhaps someday we'll meet again till then, Art Roush. My motto "Taste Death Live Life and Ride It Like You Stole It.
