I'm currently living in Ocala, Florida in North Central Florida. Ocala is about 150 miles south of the Georgia line on Interstate 75 (there are some things you can't get away from). My wife and I have lived here since 1992 when we moved from Charlottesville, Virginia where we had been since 1987. Prior to that we lived in Lighthouse Point Florida (just north of Ft Lauderdale) from July 1976. Prior to that we lived in Cleveland, Ohio since March 1969. Prior to that I was employed by the U.S. Government and traveled in Southeast Asia for two years. My wife Kathie and I have been married since October of 1968. We have no children but people do like to lend us their children from time to time. Kathie is a second grade teacher in the Marion County School system for 8 years and prior to that she was a banker retiering from First Union. Kathie and I met at Adrian College where I attended prior to my work with the government. Kathie remained there untill 1967 and then went to work in Detroit where she is from. I started a 12 year career in the trucking industry with Jones Transfer and finished as Vice President of Sales for a company I helped to start in Florida. I left the trucking industry to start my life in human services after graduating with a BS from Barry College Miami Shores in 1979. I then went to Nova University in Ft Lauderdale and completed my MS in Clinical Psychology in 1982. I then went to Barry University in Miami Shores and graduated with an MSW in 1994.
