Arthur's Story
Dropped out of Shasta High in 1959 and joined US Navy. . Attened Shasta College 1963-1964. Idid get my HS diploma in 1964 and greieved my orignal 1960 diploma. They saved it for me. Moved to Oakland, CA in 1965 and worked for Garett Freight lines till 1968. Moved to Everett WA. and worked First Flight as an electrician on first 50 Boeing 747's till laid off along with 45,000 others in 1970. Went back to Garrett freight Lines in Reno, NV till 1990 when Garett, (ANR) closed, and was picked up by Consolidated Freightlines in same position till Nov. 1992 when disaster struk.

und with a cane till 2007 when I received a Yellow Lab Guide Dog, a female named Serena. Now have my second dog. A Male Lab/Golden cross named "Ballard" specially trained to work on right side.
I am involved with the VA and am a member of the Reno VA High rollers Blind Bowling team and have competed at various locations around the country.
I have three children, Art III, Tammy, and Paige and ten grand children. In 1995 I remarried for the third time to Lynda my last and final wife!
This year will mark my 50th year here in Reno and that almost makes me a native.
Life with all its twists and turns has been good. No complaints
