Arthur's Story
Life
Just added a picture of my main focus in life at this point. I returned to pole vaulting at age 62 (pole vaulted in high school and college until I broke my wrist). Three years ago I was diagnosed with type two diabetes and decided to cure myself through diet and exercise. It worked; I lost 60 pounds and started running three miles a day. SATF Masters meets. My personal best is 10' 6". Not bad for a 67 yr. old. I am still actively working in my own industrial instrumentation and control business (25 yrs) Merit Services, Inc. I live with my wife Pat (Slater) of 43 years in Novato, CA. We have three children and three grandchildren. Pat and I are active music ministers in the Catholic Church (for the past 23 yrs). playing electric guitar while Pat leads singing.
