Ashley's Story
My life in a nutshell...I left Indiana University in the middle of my junior year and transfered to Kansas University. My parents had moved and it was time for me to follow. I had always been a Jayhawk at heart! I received my degree in Elementary Education, but I didn't teach a day in my life. I left that up to my husband, Jason. He teaches ninth grade English and until this year, he coached football and track.
We are constantly chasing after our two children. Nathaniel is 7 and Paige is 5. Nathaniel is the typical first child - always wanting to please. ing school with her babies. She definitely expects life to be on her terms.
Jason and I have been married for 13 years. We live in a suburb of Kansas City, Kansas. I have been a sales assistant on a team of financial advisors for 12 years. I never would have seen that coming for me! I am an avid Jayhawk basketball fan and couldn't be more pleased that my beloved Hawks won the National Championship this year. Our football team did exceptionally well last season, too. We are looking forward to lots of great tailgates this fall to cheer on our Orange Bowl Champs.
Hopefully, over the next year I'll be able to get more than nutshell versions of your lives. I look forward to reconnecting with the Class of 89.
