Athena's Story
Life
I married for the 1st time when I was 19, dropped out of school and had a kid at 23. Divorced at 24 and met my present husband of 24 years and together for 28 years. Worked at the Greek Consulate for 15 years and Stanford university Drama Department for 5 1/2 years. Still very connected with the Faculty. My husband, a graduate of Stanford had his own think tank on Public Policy for 15 years and then was the founder, CEO, Chrmn of the Board of Liposome Technology Inc. (LTI), a biotech company. re approved by the FDA over the 15 years he was the CEO. He retired after that and a year later I retired form Stanford Drama. We have remodeled our homes both in Menlo Park and in Truckee and been traveling quite a bit. We split our time with Lake Tahoe, Menlop Park, and Greece where we also have summer home. We have a total of 3 children, Aretoula,girl(33)married and are about to become grandparents,Vasili(boy 26),Alexi (boy 23). We are both very active with many things and don't know how we stay so busy.
