Audrey's Story

Graduated UGA 1976 in Agriculture/Dairy Science. Worked in dairy science field. Did a lot of cave exploration in USA and Mexico. Lived in England and worked on a horse farm. Returned to the US and married my husband David (also a fellow caver) in Dec. 1988 in Athens, GA. Moved to our farm in Murrayville, 210 acres. Raise Santa Gertrudis beef cattle, Jersey cows, oxen, Belgian horses, mules. Have 4 stepchildren...Expand for more
and 2 children. Son Barratt was born in 1993 (now 18) and daughter Katharine was born in 2000 (now 10). Traveled a lot. For the past 15 years, milking our own cows and farm chores keep us home more. Other hobbies: genealogy, reading history, piano, choir at Grace Episcopal Church in Gainesville, gardening (vegetables, flowers), making reproduction cross-stiitch samplers, photography, camping. Life is good!
