Audrey's Story

To contact me, mail to audmtownsend at netscape.net After leaving LHS, Michelle (Oberdank) Sullivan and I headed off to Durham for our adventures at UNH. After a very exciting freshman year she left me to run off and get married - whatever! I stayed and continued my adventures until graduating in 1992 with my BS in Business Admin. From there I went to work at Cabletron Systems in Rochester in the telecommunications department. There I learned all about phone systems, pagers (remember those!!) and cell phones. In 1995 I married Brian Townsend from Derry - yes DERRY!!!. This is all thanks to Julie Hanover for s...Expand for more
etting up this little blind date... Anyways, I stayed at Cabletron until 1996 when I took a job as a network engineer for Sprint PCS. Brian and I bought a house in Deerfield, NH. Then. after my group built the entire PCS network in NH and ME, Sprint closed our office and layed us all off!! I then took a job at Liberty Mutual in Portsmouth where I became a technical analyst, building and maintaining call centers for their many offices. I stayed there until my son, Zackary, was born in April of 2000. Right now I am a stay at home mom with my two children, Zack and a daughter Abbigail born in February of 2003.
