Audrey's Story
I left in Herlong in 1976 and it's been a long time since I have seen anyone from the area. My mom and dad are retired in Janesville, so I get up there once in awhile.
I am a Retired Marine Corps Aircraft Electrician. After being stationed serveral places in the US and overseas, Yuma, Arizona was my last duty station. chool. I was Director of Employment Services and then Transition Services with a non-profit in Yuma.
After 20 years in Yuma I couldn't stand the heat anymore, so my husband and I packed up and left for higher elevations. We now live in Whetstone, AZ and I work at the Fort Huachuca Army Installation. I am the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Manager and I assist Soldiers with their family members with medical or educational special needs.
