ga, which in my opinion, was a cake walk. late april went to san antonio to train for my emt license and combat medical skills. just imagine having 6 month course crammed into ur head in 4. O_o september i arrived at my current duty station of ft. stewart, ga. 1-64 Armor Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized). the 4 months that followed weremore training and getting prepared for the current deployment here in baghdad, iraq. to be quite honest, its wild out here. but u have to always remember to be aware of ur surroundings because u never know what can happen. i think this whole army thing made me realize that u have to do anythinjg and everything in ur power to do what u have to do to the fullest because u'll never know when its ur time to go... *update* returned to the states in january 2006 to begin training on my current deployment starting at may 2007. i'm slated to be out here in baghdad for another 15 months... *update 2* completed active duty commitment in 2008 and joined a reserve unit that specifically trains soldiers to prepare for overseas deployments and combat. became a civilian in 2011.
