Ava's Story

After high school I went to St Johns Jr College and got an AA degree then I moved to Richmond, Va went to school part time worked full time for a year and then got into Medical College of Va nursing school where I graduated in 1978. I have worked as a nurse off and on(mostly on) since then. I worked in pediatrics, L&D, and intensive care nursery(mostly there...Expand for more
). The last few years I have worked as a nurse consultant on telephone triage educating people, acting as a social worker, psychiatist(those last two unofficially). I got married to a wonderful man in 1984 and we have two children a boy and girl who are now grown and we have a grandchild and another on the way from my daughter and her husband. Life is good!
