Avis's Story

Life Jim and I have been married for 35 years. We still live in Tallmadge. We retired in May of 2003 from First Energy (Ohio Edison) and are currently enjoying taking it easy. Our daughter, Gwen, lives in Huntersville, NC with her husband George and their two sons, Ben...Expand for more
jamin, 15 and Brendan 12. We love to travel and I'm really into knitting right now. I'm also doing stained glass (but very much an amateur). We have two cats, Smokey and Bandit, who are 16 years old (as of 2009). Bandit is diabetic and lost an eye to a tumor last year.

After a cold, rainy, yucky day yesterday, we are back to almost normal, reading and knitting by the pool. Now THIS is winter in Florida.

Forgive me for bragging, but this is my favorite stained glass project ever.
One of my prized possessions. Made for me years ago by wonderful friends Cheryl and Carol Daniels.
