Azucena's Story
Life
I have a BS in Physics from UT and an MBA from UT's Executive MBA program. Randy and I will be married 20 years in June 2006 (wow, we're old). Our last big trip was to Germany in December of 2002. We visited the castles and Christmas markets and drank our share of Gluhwein.
I'm still playing with my digital camcorder and have even done a few wedding videos as gifts and for hobby money. It's more instant gratification than painting or drawing, unless my computer is acting up. I'm still drawing and have had a few portraits commissioned in the last year.
My other passion is travel and I've been lucky enough to visit 20 other countries, mostly on business. My favorite country? Probably Italy but we did really enjoy our vacation in Ecuador.

the races. We're season ticket holders at Texas Motor Speedway and just got back from a weekend of racing. We got to see Danica Patrick race in her first race after the Indy 500. She qualified well (3rd) but seemed to be struggling and placed around 12th or 13th. It's a lot of fun. My brother Doug (class of 86) and his kids and Richard Meyer (class of 86) joined us this last time and camped out with us at the track.
Workplace
Since my last update, I've changed jobs and companies. I now work as the Director of Commercial Marketing at Texas Research International in Austin, Texas. I don't get to travel internationally as much as I did with my previous jobs, but I was finally able to go to Asia (Hong Kong & Japan)with my previous employer in 2002. Now I mostly go to DC and Virginia.
