Life
Married to Linda K. Johnston in 1963. We have 4 grown children, 2 boys and 2 girls. We also have 8 grand children, at last count.
College
Earned a Bachelors of Science from Texas State University with an undergraduate degree in Occupational Education. Also earned a Masters of Science in Hospital Administration. I was an average undergraduate student earning a 3.0 GPA. Great graduate student, earned a 4.0 GPA. Recognized twice for academic excellence by the University while in graduate school. Workplace
Served for many years as Director of Hospital Patient Financial Services for several hospitals in south Texas. Worked as a consultant for a health services management firm. Currently serving as the President and CEO of the Baptist Credit union of Texas with branches in San Antonio and Dallas.
Military
Spent 4 years in the USAF. Discharged in 1964. Stationed at George AFB, CA and Homestead AFB, FL. Worked as a weapons mechanic on fighter and bomber aircraft. Served on temporary duty in Okinawa and Turkey.
