Life Hi There - Long time since we graduated in 73 - lots of things have happened. I have moved around a lot, Edmonton to Yellowknife to Courtenay BC to Vancouver in 1980. Started with BC Tel, as a long distance operator, still with the company - now TELUS, currently in the Payroll Department. I currently live in Aldergrove, about 1 hr east of Vancouver with my guy Darwyn. We have 1 cat and enjoy travelling. We just got back from a Christmas cruise sailing from New York to the Caribbean and back. What a wonderful way to spend the holidays. Update - ********* Feb 28, 2007 got MARRIED! We had a quiet ceremony. Family from his side and mine attending. You can decide to get married on Tuesday and have the service the next day. The wedding was held in a conference room at Vancouver General Hospital, Leukemia Ward. They had never had a wedding there before so the staff was quite excited. A memorable time was had by all - many many tissues used! Unfortunately - March 4 2007 Darwyn died! He had acute leukemia and it was just too much for him. He fought a good but short fight. We knew that he might not last too long but certainly didn't expect it to be this short. I will miss him - Darwyn was one of the best things that happened to me. (March 7, 2007) June 2007, Life goes on - so "they" tell me. I certainly miss my Darwyn. I am getting used to doing all the things that need to be done around a house, lots of work here. Have painted the walls in the main bedroom, that was a challenge haven't done that before. Now I am ripping up the 1973 carpet -goodness only knows what is under there, and replacing it with hardwood, tile for the bathroom. Darwyn had done hardwood in the end bedroom, hallway and front room before he got really ill, so I have enough to do the bedroom and then will get more and do the dining room and kitchen, but need a whole new kitchen first.
