Barb's Story
Life
Following graduation I started at LCC in the fall and worked at the Wayside in East Lansing at night. I got an associates degree, and just worked while I tried to decide what to do next. I met and married my first husband and had Zack in 1986 and Ashlee in 1989. I stayed home with them during the day and worked part-time jobs in the evening. in 2000 was promoted to office manager, which is the position I'm still in today. I supervise the front office staff, do payroll and benefits, our website and phone system, and three newsletters. I remarried in 1997, gained a step-daughter Marylou, and had another son Joshua in 2002. I've been living in Lowell since 1993, and it's a nice town to raise a family, very similar to DeWitt. My favorite hobby is traveling, but I mostly read, play piano and go biking in my spare time. I've also started doing some family genealogy.
