Barb's Story
My story......ah, I need to write a book! The road has been smooth, bumpy, windy, some sink holes.......but, thank God, I was brought through everything 100%. HE does tend to do that for us. I spent 35 years in CA, wow, no wonder I feel so "far behind" with everyone's lives! I've worked many jobs in CA. In my younger years, refinishing boats, cleaning boats, teaching tap dancing....ha, those were the days. Went on to several office type jobs, computer programmer for a bit, on to managing offices. One of my favorite jobs was working for the District Nurse at the Saddleback School District, then going on to be a "one-on-one" aide for a student who needed daily medical care. Being with this spina bifida student from 4th grade to 8th grade was awesome. A major blessing in my life.

ense that she's energetic, adventurous, loves boating...I imagine she will be sailing off in the near future for a short time.
I'm currently the office manager of a "boat business", we sell parts/engines exclusively to inboard boat owners (like Correct Craft, Ski Nautique, Mastercrafts). I imagine and hope I will retire from there in maybe 5 years?
Who knows what the Lord has in store. I've made so many mistakes in my life, I now try to listen closely to where HE would lead me.
I love to camp and have a small drivable camper I can easily hop into with my dog and take off for the weekends. I love taking pictures, hiking, and spending time with family & friends. I do miss CA and hope that one day soon I will be able to spend a couple months a year there.
So.......here I am, in South Carolina, reconnecting with some school friends. It's great to hear how everyone is doing.
