Barbara(Cookie)'s Story

I started working in general dentistry after leaving South Dade, my hope was to go on to Dental Hygiene school if I liked working in dentistry; as it turned out, I was in dentistry for 43 years in one position or another and I did get my degree to practice hygiene from Univ. of Alabama on my 50th birthday only to practice full time for only 5 months, I didn't find it very rewarding after all I had done and experien...Expand for more
ced in General Dentistry, so that's when I proceded into oral surgery as a surgical asst. Loved it!! I am adjusting to life being alone but at the same time I have decided to live again making time for golf, dancing, crafts TRAVEL! I have 7 children (11 grand/ 8 great grand)! I did fight breast cancer in 04-05 and have remained free now for 7 years, I am blessed with good health; so I must say "Life is Good"!
