Barbara's Story
Life
I have been married since 1986 to Tim Easter and we just celebrated our 20th anniversary. We have a 8 year old son named Thomas. After 16 years with the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection I left the State service to go work for Elk Grove CSD Fire Department as a Fire Inspector II. I'm also serving on the school board for St. John's School were our son attends school.

Department of Forestry and Fire protection in two different units. The first being out of Auburn Headquarters as a Fire Prevention Assistant doing Public Education and then in Lake-Napa Headquarters as Fire Prevention Specialist II doing plan review and inspection. I also did a short training assistment with the State Fire Marshal Office as a Deputy Fire Marshal. My Current job is with the Elk Grove CSD Fire Department as an Fire Inspector II. I was hired to oversee the New Mall development project which will be starting in the near future.
