Barbara's Story
After graduation, I had one very special year of college, but was unable to go back because of loss of needed funds.
I was able to use high school office skills (typing and shorthand) to work in the clerical field. I moved to California and worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space at Vandenberg AFB. There I met my husband, Gerald, an aerospace
engineer. We were married in 1965, and have three children , now with families of their own. We also have nine
grandchildren. This past June we celebrated our 50th anniversary. Overall, the years have been very good to us.
We've had more laughter than...Expand for more
tears, more joy than sorrow---although now, my Precious husband is very ill. But I have been very blessed.
My personal interests have included much sewing, and I have become a master gardener---I could spend all day
in the garden (flowers) and never be bored a moment. I have also enjoyed antiquing and home decorating. Through
the years, we've had a circus of furry friends, and even now have 4 dogs + 1 kitty. I'm a sucker for sweet puppy and kitty .faces
I've so often wondered about all of you, and hope each one is happy, healthy, and greatly blessed.
