Barbara's Story
Life
Hmm, well somehow my married name came up here and I haven't figured out how to change it. My maiden name was Allen. I've been married 15 years now and have five children, all beautiful girls. We have a dog named Daisy, and three cats. One was intentional and the other two , well not quite planned. Thier names are Buttercup, Snowbell, and Patches respectively. As you have likely figured out by now, I'm a full time mother. There isn't much more to say. I live north of London, Ontario.
School
We moved often so I was obviously never in one place for very long. I have three memorable teachers that influenced me. The first was Mrs. Morgan, she taught me so much more...Expand for more
than history and math. She taught self respect and the value of doing your very best. Mr. Able was one of my math teachers, up to this point in my schooling, math was very frustrating, when I took his math class, it was great, students didn't have to be quiet, we were allowed to help each other out, and it was set up in such a way that you already knew how the class would be conducted. The third teacher that influenced me was Miss Howse. She taught English and she taught me confidence in speaking in front of people, being a preacher's daughter, this is something that has come in handy numerous times. Thank you to all of you. I can now pass what I've learned onto my children.
