Barbara Aupperle:  

Life After high school, I moved to South Pasadena, where I met my future husband. We were married in 1964 and moved to Las vegas NV in 1967. Have now been here more than 40 years, very involved in our community, this is home. We have 2 grown kids, one grandson, 12. Our daughter works for a Destination Management company here in Las Vegas, in the business division as Vice President and our son is a Union Stagehand. Workplace I have worked for the District Attorneys office for almost 23 years, the first 16 as a Victim Advocate, while I finished my degree in Criminal Justice Administration, the last 7 as the Program Administrator of the Victim Witness Assistance Unit. I love this job as well, I supervise 12 people, mostly Victim Advocates and I get to go out in the community and tell people what we do and how and why we do it. As a Victim Advocate, I loved what I did, no two days were ever the same and I got to go to court, handle restitution and assist victims in many ways.
