Barbara's Story
Went to a few colleges in the former Southwest Conference, by the time I got serious about studying, I was married. My husband Pat is a paving contractor mostly in the Houston area.
I've been fortunate enough to stay home with our 3 kids for the last 20 years. Ryan is 20 and a junior at Stephen F Austin University. Shane is 16 and pretty much lives to make music. Betsy, 14, is about to enter high school this fall. Since I never got to be a band kid, I raised 3! All three are drummers, all three are fabulous, bright peop...Expand for more
le. We have hot and cold running teenagers almost every day. We live on 20 acres in the piney woods north of Houston. My in-laws share our property and my mother lives across the street. We are very blessed.
My other passions are my dogs; Jack and Sam are 8 year old Labs, and Pete is a 2 year old Great Dane. All 3 are black and all three are spoiled crazy. And gardening, with 20 acres, 2 ponds and a pool there is always something to do outside.
