Barbara's Story
Life
Hello everyone! My name is Barbara L. Lee (Belle) and I graduated in 1981. I am the proud mother to 3 sons (ages 29, 24, and 18). I had my oldest son while in school and 2 since I graduated. I've also gotten married since I graduated, and are very proud to say that he is the love of my life. My husband's name is Keith Lee, and he graduated from Carver Vocational Technical H.S. in 1980. We had been girlfriend/boyfriend since 1979, and got married in 1988. We are also proud grandparents to 3 children (ages 8, 6, and 4).
College
Since graduating in 1981, I attend Dorethea B. Lane Secretarial School in 1987 where I received and Executive Secretary Diploma, and February 4, 2007, I received my Associates of Arts Degree in Bussiness Administration ...Expand for more
(AABA). I am preparing to attend college to obtain my Bachelor's Degree, with my concentration being Human Resource (HR).
Military
I am not in the military, but are very proud to say that my husband, SSG. Keith L. Lee, is a retiree of the Army National Guards. He first joined while still in high school in 1978, and left for Basic Training and AIT in July 1980.
SSG. Lee was a memeber of the 290th MP Co in Parkville, MD, and served in Operation Noble Eagle/Operation Enduring Freedom during September 11, 2001 for 14 months. He also served in Kabul, Afghanistan 2003-2005. Upon his SAFE RETURN HOME, he retired 3 months later. He performed a great job, and I am very proud of him and thhe rest of the soldiers around the world who are serving our country.
