Barbara's Story
Life
I have been married to my second husband, Ken, (no jokes, please) since April, 2003. We currently reside in Fort Collins with our 6 adorable cats. I'd love to have 6 more, but people are already accusing me of being a crazy cat lady.
I have a beautiful daughter, Megan, who is also my best friend. She is working in the Center for Adult Learning at FRCC teaching math and helping adults get their GED.

he Animal Cancer Center at CSU. I had hoped to retire by the time I turned 60 to spend more time with Ken, who retired in 2005. Given all the economic turmoil, I have resigned myself to the fact that this is not a viable option. It's good that I love my job a lot!
My dad died in 1995 and I still miss him. Mom is 90 years young and lives in Longmont in her own house. We keep trying to get her to downsize, but she has no interest in doing so.
