Barbara's Story
My mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer the fall after graduating. My family and I all shared in her care while she was sick.
I did manage to finish one year at Mid-State Business School while working part-time for xray billing at the hospital.
I met my future husband during this time also. We were married about a month before my mom passed away.
That fall I had my first daughter, Marie. About 2 years later, I had my daughter, Sarah. By that time, I'd moved to Lewiston.
Besides Lewiston, I've lived in West Palm Beach, FL, West Minot, ME, and now Auburn, ME since graduation.
Other than raising my daughters, I've worked at many different jobs--IV tech, Burger King, U...Expand for more
SPS, Camden Yarns,etc. I now work part-time as a production worker.
I now am a grandmother to a very sweet 4-year-old named Abby. A tempest in a teapot! I love my family so much - they are my life!
My interests include genealogy, quilting, cross-stitching, sewing, and reading whenever I have the time.
I remember my school days with much affection. Not the homework mind you -the friends...Cathy's milk & cookie parties, the waltz she arranged with the guy I had a secret crush on...the good ole days!
I really would like to see how much everyone has changed over the years. I missed the first reunion but plan on attending our 30th. Hope to see all my old classmates!
