Barbara Brownell's Story
Married Richard Rauenzahn15Jun68. I retired April 2008 from San Luis Coastal School District as a Personnel Assistant. I have had 1 brain surgery for Meningioma tumors and Gama Knife surgery on a tumor in my neck. I have been diagnosed with Von Recklinghausen's neurofibromatosis type 2. Richard Retired Army National Guard/Disabled veteran/Retired Federal Civil Service (1996)' He Retired again, PERS, from California State Military Department California Youth Programs-Angel Gate Academy/Camp San Luis Obispo (2005). From 1976 to 1990 Richard worked worked part-time for the California, Angels Baseball team during spring training. He is fully Retired after working "temporary" Federal Civil Service again May2005-07 managing Special projects Camp Roberts MATES Maintenance Facility on returning military equipment from Iraq war as Global War On Terror employee. We left the Imperial Valley in 1989 and we are living in Los Osos, CA. hanical Engineer/programmer, Hewlett Packard, then as Director of Product management for Weatherford Corporation and then senior Product Line Director Theta Oilfield Services, Inc, Now Vice president of Product control at Detechtion Technologies, Inc (part time Church of the Nazarene Youth Minister)married to Michelle Rauenzahn part time (youth Minister), they were married Jan97. Sharon and Rich teach Sunday school at their Church of the Nazarene. Now we travel in the RV, spend the summer at Medicine Lake California, Life has been Great with just a few bumps in the road on the way. Richard spends a lot of time fishing off shore in Morro Bay with neighbors and nephelococcygia. I crotchet Payer shawls in my spare time and sew with my granddaughter.
