Barb's Story
Life
After leaving Tustin, I moved to SF where I met my husband. We moved to Arizona in 1981, we've been married for 25 years and have 4 children. I'm a stay at home Mom/Substitute Teacher and love it. Before that, I got my BAed from ASU. My career was in Training and Development. I'm very active in our church (Christian), schools, and local organizations. I'm still very close with my long time friends Judy Plath (Rossbach) and Donna Rawlins (Hodge).
College
After High school I went to Brooks College in Long Beach and got my AA in Fashion Merchandising....Expand for more
After working in the fashion industry I went back to school and got my BAed from ASU, majoring in Adult Education/Training and Development.
Workplace
My first real job after college was at The Gap Corporation in San Bruno CA. Worked in their Buying office. After going back to college to change careers, I became a Management Trainer. I worked for a utility company in HR until I decided to stay home and raise my family. Since then I use my skills volunteering at my church, kid's schools and other various local organizations. I love being a stay at home Mom!
