Barbara's Story

After graduation I went to Northeast for a few semesters . I met and married a great guy from Alexandria and moved down to that area where we still live 43 years later. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I have been a registered nurse since 1983, and retired from public health nursing just last year. My husband Joe is retired from Camp Beaurega...Expand for more
rd (National Guard) and we continue to work on a log home we stared building in 2008. We actually live in Pollock now, which is north of Pineville. At this point in my life, I am busier than I expected to be with the never ending drama of my children and grandchildren's lives. But all and all, life is very good and we have been blessed beyond belief.
