Barbara's Story

Life My life is good. I have a 26-year-old son (yes!). He uis a Special Education teacher here in Weatherford. I have been married twice. Married 7 years the first time. The second marriage, I filed for divorce after 5 months and the divorce was final on the 7th month. Do I really have to claim that one? (smile) We live in Weatherford now and love it. We're around family here. I am retired. I'm busy! I have had health issues since 2017, most caused by 5 autoimmune diseases,...Expand for more
and some brain issues but y’all knew that from high school! 🤪 Life has been hard since 2017. I am a fighter! I genuinely love my life! Workplace After high school I went to TCU and then my parents' court reporting college and graduated in 1976. I was a court reporter in the felony criminal district courts for my whole career until I took early retirement in 2006. I now have a "life" for the first time in my son's life! I do a lot of volunteering, baking, cooking and gardening.
