Barbara's Story
My husband of 25 years and I recently moved to North Carolina, guess I am a Southern Bell now....to be near family.
We suffered a terrible loss in November 20ll when my oldest son died by suicide...he was a vet from Iraq, and tho we didn't lose him in battle, we lost him to the war. It was the most devastating experience a parent or anyone could go thru.
time is helping but we still live with it every day. I have another son who is 40 and a grandson 15 who is a delight in spite of being a t...Expand for more

Life has been an amazing journey that I hope will continue for a very long time.
I want to update my profile, as I have become a widow. In Feb 2019 I lost my beloved husband. I was his caregiver and feel blessed that I was able to take care of him in his final months. I miss him terribly but will always have our beautiful memories we shared. So, I start this new chapter in my life....I have no idea how it will play out but I know my Heavenly Father does.
