Barbara's Story
Life
Hi friends,
Since graduation I married my high school sweetheart Jack in 1962 and we have been happily married ever since. We were blessed with a womderful daughter in 1965 and a great son in 1971 during the 10th reunion.
We have also been blessed beyond measure by 2 granddaughters from our son and his lovely wife who are the absolute joy of my life.
We moved to the most beautiful and lush state of Oregon in 1983 and are loving it.
In high school I won a tailoring/ sewing award and today I still sew and make doll clothes and sell them on Ebay. I sew for those darling 8" Ginny ...Expand for more
dolls we played with as children.
I am a survivor of cancer, melanoma, twice, and blessed beyond measure by our Lord and Savior in all ways.
We are foster parents and at present have 2 hard of hearing sisters that we have in permanent care until they are 21. I don't know if you knew my mom was mentally ill and not home much of my growing up. I think God used that so I would have a tender heart for children without the love and care a parent should give.
We hold a Bible Study in our home once a week during the school season.
I would love to hear from any of my old friends.
