Barbara's Story
Life
After graduating, I was blessed to marry local native Wayne Lauster and remained so for 32 years, when he passed away in 1998. We had one son, Barry and two beautiful grandchildren, Corey, age 21 in Germany, and Scarlett aged 10 and going on 21. Since 2000, I have been Director of a historical museum in Huntsville, Alabama, my hometown. I left Seymour and the Indiana area in 1981 and returned home. e museum as Director. Being there, I am captivated by the wonderful people I meet from all over the world, as I dress in costume, recite poetry and occasionally sing an old Southern song. During high school, Roy Michael Stein was my first love but we both chose different paths. Then while widowed I dated Roger Pearson from our class and a much missed friend. I love to read, write, collect antiques, bowhunted for many years, played softball for 35 years and still fish as much as I can and now I am an avid golfer. I love the outdoors, cooking, and life. Updated June 2011. I recently retired from the historical museum and now busy being a retiree stay at home wife. I find much to do, but now at a slower pace.
