Barbara Davidson:  

After graduation I attended Draughon's Business College. In January 1950 I went to work as secretary to the director of Webster county Division of Welfare. I worked there until June 1951 when I started working in the Transportation Office at Fort Leonard Wood Mo. In 1952 I transferred to the Office of Inspector General and worked there until October 1954. On April 10, 1954 I married Lt Arthur j Bradshaw. We lived at Fort Leonard Wood until he was transferred to Germany in October 1954. In February 1955 I was able to join my husband in Germany. We lived at Hanau. Our son Steven was born in the US Army Hospital, Frankfurt, Germany on 15 May 1955. In May 1956 we moved to Grafenwohr Germany and were there until September 1957 when we returned to Fort Leonard Wood. Our daughter Pamela was born at Fort Leonard Wood in November 1957. We lived at Fort Leonard Wood until February 1960 when Brad received orders for Korea. The kids and I lived on my folks' farm in a house my dad built for us. When Brad returned from Korea, we went to Fort Benning Ga for 6 months and then to Fort Sheridan Il. After living there for about 2 years we went back to Germany for 2 years and then returned to Fordland where the kids and I lived while Brad was at school at Ft Leavenworth KS.
