Barbara's Story

Those of you who knew me knew that I wanted to become a teacher. I graduated from Western Mich. U. and went to Oregon (Eugene) where I started my own school on an 80acre property that we bought and developed into a ranch and school for k-6. I went on to have an adventurous life teaching in Alaska where I lived in Eskimo villages, the Kenai Penninsula and Anchorage. I flew all over in bush airplanes, landed on Mt. rmers in Anchorage. All told I spent 17 years there and retired ten years ago.I moved to Spokane,Wa where I now live to the max-- golfing, kayaking, power boating, gardening, and reading a lot. I also paint, and do photo shoots. I exhibit locally and also teach a memoir writing class at a senior center. I have a son and daughter who both married doctors. I recently got remarried after many years as a single. I spend my winters in Cabo San Lucas. My friends call me the time share queen. Love to hear your story and catch up.
