Barbara's Story
After a late start, I finally realized my dream of becoming a lawyer, something I wanted to do since I was 16 years old. I graduated from law school in 1993, worked in civil practice for a few years and then realized my real calling: prosecution. I spent 7 years as a Deputy District Attorney for the County of Fresno (and a short 6 month stint with the County of Santa Barbara) where I logged over 50 jury trials prosecuting everythi...Expand for more
ng from DUI's to sex crimes to robbery. Along the way, I met my husband who is a civil litigation lawyer. He stole my heart and became my best friend. In 2003 I retired so I could spend my time supervising the design and construction of our dream home in Santa Barbara which was completed in 2007. Dan is spearheading his firm's effort to open a branch office on the central coast so we hope to live in Santa Barbara fulltime someday.
