Barbara's Story

I graduated from Bowling Green State in 1976 and relocated to Rockford, Illinois. I married Royce Birkett in 1980. Had my first child, James, in 1981, and Rachel, in 1983. Got divorced in 1994 and married David Aldrich right after that. Dave and I relocated to Tigard, Oregon in 1997 and all four kids graduated from Tigard High School. Dave took a...Expand for more
job in Seattle in 2008 and we moved to Seattle in March, 2008. In 2012, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and Dave lost his job. We moved to Phoenix; AZ and lived there until July, 2020 when I was again diagnosed with breast cancer and Dave lost his job. We are now living in Punta Gorda, Florida. Life is good again. I am so happy here in Florida!
